This tool helps test proxy servers.
Zalp is freeware that tests HTTP proxy lists against a website of your choice. This is a Windows compatible tool. You can simply download this proxy checker and add or load your own proxies to check. As an alternative, you can pull proxy lists automatically from five different online sources. These can be tested anytime. The interface to the software is quite simple. You can add proxies as you want. All it takes is to click on the Add button and enter the proxy IP into the first box, followed by the proxy port into the second. Lists can be loaded through importing a TXT list. The text file should have only one proxy per line, and must be in IP : Port format. After testing, this program produces a “Good” proxies list. You will be able to clear the proxies to test list and the “Good” proxies. When testing multiple proxies, this could be quite a convenience.
To avoid wastage of testing time, you could clean the test list by removing the duplicates. This is simply done by clicking the “Dupes” page. The proxies available on the source sites (five sources are available), could be pulled up anytime. These lists are regularly updated. After testing, it is possible to simply save the “Good” proxies list. URL to be tested against each of the proxies could be entered. All the newer version of the Windows is compatible with this software. An essential pre-requisite for running the software is .NET Framework 4 to be installed on your computer. This is a good tool if you need one.
